    Discussions we need to have

Discussions we need to have will parallel the tasks in Top Secret:

Anime Style - I'm for .hack (the anime/manga, not the 3D game style) or Crystal Chronicles style, but open to ideas.

Beasts - 5 types x 4 or 5 elements. I'm thinking carnivorous mammal, herbivorious mammal, bird (probably flightless ala ostrich or *ahem* chocobo), lizard or dragon, insect/arachnid

Characters - based on the elements, I was also thinking tribal elements i.e. Fire tribe could be desert/african look, Ice tribe could be Eskimos etc...

Weapons - I think the hammer-pult is a good basic weapon, which can launch powerups of various types. The hammerpult could also look different based on the tribe. There should also be traps that can be laid of different elemental types.

Towns - I really like Schnitz's idea of the different elements having towns and trying to open some type of Ether town or portal. The towns could have areas for collecting creatures and equipment etc as well as a way to enter the arena which would be an instance of the "Ether opening" game.

Cards - we need to figure out integration of this

Elements - Should we use Fire, Ice, Wind, Earth, and Aether, or something slightly different? I'm thinking Fire, Ice, Electricity, Poison, Aether, and Shadow - this allows for some fantastical creatures (fire and ice) and some more normal creatures that use things real creatures do (Electricity and Poison). Aether and Shadow (or Naether) can be 2 sides of the portals you can open... allowing for Epic beasts and powerups on the light or dark sides.

Recruiting - we need at least a concept artist. And should this be a way to bring in more people to Critical Mass? We also need to participate in the Taskgroups - I haven't seen many CM sigs in the Taskgroups... and we can't get these ideas into the game without participating there.
