I'd like to give the tubes a shot if you don't mind.

It will depend on how complex the layout of the track is. I've also got a weapon taskgroup and a few weapon discusions going that will need a bit of attention, but while I wait on replies, I will work on the track. He said he wanted some plantlife and scenic elements to be included along with the lights, and from the forum I'd like to add a few other details in there as well. At this time, I don't really have an Est.D.D. but I will try to get it done a.s.a.p.

~I'd also like to give the tudes a shot.  I've started something simple based onElkhorno'sconcept.

I think a lot more concept art will be needed for this detailing each part of the track.

Rasield, do you wanna team up on this?

I'm willing to team up. I would like to know what program you are using to model it though. I'm using Maya 8.0 and I know it can handle some file types, but not all.

I'm using 3DStudio Max 9.  We can share models in Maya's .obj format. This will definately work for models but I'm not sure about textures.  I can look into that.  I think we need to decide what part or parts of the track we will model. Elkhorno's concept here could be a good place to start: http://phpbb.acclaim.com/topsecret/viewtopic.php?t=4361

I'm actually trying to get all the art from the forum working. I've spent the last few days modeling the enterances to the tubes that Asurael had posted. That is where I'm starting anyway.

Rasield has done some good work on this one last I saw. I'm concentrating on the elemental track at the moment. As soon as I got a little more done for the elemental I'll be moving on to this.  Could be another couple of weeks.

I may have taken on a little too much work.Embarrassed

    Re: Oceanus Tubis 3d Render

If possible Elkhorno, could you draw the folowing? They will help me a lot with the modeling. I've gone through about four different versions of tunnel to dome connections and they all didn't look right when compared to the track and the tunnel itself.

    -Tunnel Connection to Dome
-Road/Tunnel going through a urban block (Expressway style, off and above the city floor with some on and off ramps)
-Tunnel Door/Sealing Cap (assuming all tunnels can be opened, closed, or sealed off in case of colapse)
-A bit of the Underwater city Urban Sprawl Environs

Those are the few main ones I keep having problems envisioning and modeling. Your tunnels will be the main track and the tunnel Alandur did will be the side tunnels.
