OK, I was thinking of how we all love the spam from grouphub so much or at least need it to keep us all on task and focused so I've devised a plan to integrate this functionality into the massdev site with a newsletter system that auto posts to a blog.
I haven't really worked it all out yet but could do so over the weekend if you all want this functionality.
Here are the basics:
The newsletter can support a form where people can sign-up themselves or we can make it admin add only your choice. address could be something like http://massdev.net/newsletter. After everyone is added to the newsletter service we can either have everyone be able to post to the newsletter or only a few select people to cut down on spam, again your choice.
The fun part is I can set it up to email the blogging/forums system here on massdev where every email is made into a post and I can also make it so any responses to that post are sent to everyone on the newsletter if need be.
All in all quite a bit can be done with this and I was just looking for some feedback before I get myself waste deep in code.
